We can today announce that club captain John Treasurer has departed the club at the end of his contract and has joined fellow Highland League side Nairn County.John joined the club in his first spell in 2013 when he left Inverness Caledonian Thistle. He then departed to Strathspey Thistle for a season before rejoining the Fort and has spent the past four seasons here, whilst also being appointed club captain in 2019. Unfortunately John hasn't been able to play much football in his last couple of seasons at the club due to picking up a season ending injury in August 2019 and then once John did get back to full fitness, the COVID-19 pandemic came along.We thank John for everything he has done for the football club on and off the pitch and for being such a great ambassador and role model to our youngsters coming through and wish him nothing but success at Nairn County and look forward to hopefully seeing him on the 25th August when we make the journey up to Station Park.
